Who We Are
Beth El Bible Church is a gospel-centered, Christ-exalting church located in the heart of El Paso.
We exist to glorify God by meeting people where they are and helping them take the next step in their faith journey.
Whether you're new to church or have followed Christ for years, we welcome you to grow, serve, and worship with us in a community grounded in truth and grace.
Our Story
Beth El Bible Church began in the 1980s when Pastor Jack Meadows planted it as a Fellowship Church. In 1990, Pastor Eric Paul replanted the church, and in 1992 we joined the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) — a network of autonomous churches united by faith and mission.
From humble beginnings in a small westside home to an old Baptist church building in central El Paso, God has faithfully guided us. Today, we gather near the airport in our fully renovated, debt-free building — a testimony of God’s provision and purpose.
Our central location allows us to be a light to the heart of the city and a spiritual home to many seeking truth, growth, and community.
Beth El Bible Church affirms the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). These core truths define who we are and how we live as a body of believers.
What we believe.
God
One God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal, perfect, and loving.
The Bible
God’s inspired, authoritative Word—our foundation for truth, faith, and life.
Humanity
Created in God’s image, fallen through sin, and redeemed only through Christ.
Jesus Christ
Fully God and fully man—born of a virgin, sinless, crucified, risen, and reigning.
Salvation
By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
The Holy Spirit
Empowers and equips believers to live for Christ and serve in His name.
We Believe:
The Church
The body of Christ on earth—united by the Spirit and called to worship, grow, and serve.
The Ordinances
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper—expressions of the gospel, practiced in faith.
Christian Living
Marked by love, service, justice, prayer, and mission.
Christ’s Return
Jesus will return bodily to restore all things and reign forever.
Eternal Destiny
Those who trust in Christ will enjoy eternal life; those who reject Him face judgment.
